Charles Guthrie
CEO & Developer – Born in Newcastle, in the North-East of England, Charles grew up on family construction sites. His father was a local builder with a reputation for design and innovation, but his true passion was the restoration of old buildings. From his father’s influence, he inherited a mindset for detail and a passion for excellence, which today is sometimes difficult to find as true craftsmanship is a dying art in our modern society.
His concept behind Vega Homes is to achieve a standard of craftsmanship with an eye for detail, incorporating modern technology and inspirational design. The group of people that he has assembled at Vega are individuals he has been working with closely for many years.
Drawing from his experience, he aims to offer clients a
comprehensive in-house service that covers everything from the initial dream of collaborating with an architect to the finished construction, all accomplished by one company.
Jason Moyer
Technology, Security & Audio –Jason Moyer is a communications engineer who earned his degreefrom MIT through the Bell Labs University Engineering program.
He began his career at Lucent Technologies, designing and managing system installations for notable clients like NASA, LAX, and the Spiegel Catalog Global Call Center. After establishing his own company in California, he worked with various businesses, including NASA, ABC Studios, and the State of California Employment Department.
Later, Jason moved to Oregon, where he entered the Integrated Systems industry. He expanded his company’s services to include advanced Voice and Data networks and residential technologies, becoming synonymous with high-end homes in the Pacific Northwest. Jason accumulated over 40 certificates in home automation, lighting control, audio/video, home cinema, and security solutions through continuous learning.
In 2008, he sold his Oregon-based company and relocated to Milan, Italy, serving as the Sales and Training Manager for Leviton’s Security and Automation division in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. There, he trained systems integrators across 35 countries and managed projects in numerous European cities, Dubai, Johannesburg, Bucharest, and Mallorca.
Today, Jason is our expert in home Technologies.
Moisés Royo
PhD Architect – Moisés Royo Márquez (born 1981) is an architect with honours from the Madrid Technical School of Architecture in 2007. He completed his training during this period at Aalto University (Helsinki, 2003). He was awarded a scholarship from La Caixa for postgraduate studies in the United States, where he continued his studies at Columbia University (New York) and obtained his Master’s Degree in Advanced Architectural Design (2006). He received his international PhD with a mention of academic excellence in 2014, graduating with honours cum laude. Additionally, he has been working as an Associate Professor of Design Studio at E.T.S.A.M. since 2015. He previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Barnard College (NY, 2005), as a guest professor at Carleton University (Ottawa, 2013), and contributed to teaching at the School of Madrid (2008-2010). He has been a guest speaker at conferences both nationally and internationally (USA, Portugal, Canada, Italy). Alongside his teaching activities, Moisés founded mukaarquitectura in 2008.
Since then, he has won awards in competitions and completed projects.
His work has been published in several magazines and books, including the Young Architects of Spain exhibition promoted by the Ministry of Housing. He has achieved relevant distinctions such as runner-up in European Suiza (2011), Finalist in the FAD Awards (2014) City and Landscape category, and recognition in the 21st cycle WA Awards (2015). He also received the Second Prize in the international ideas competition for the Vertical cemetery in Tokyo (2016), was a Finalist in Proyectissimo, and won the Third Prize in the International Competition for the KIP Island Auditorium (Riga, 2017). He was also a Finalist at the Brick Awards by the Brick Development Association in London and The Wienerberger Brick Award (Vienna, 2018), and received additional recognition at the Hispalyt Casa Piedrabuena Awards. In 2019, he won the First Prize for the adaptation of the Plaza de la Constitución in Espirdo (Segovia), the Second Prize in the International Swimming Pools Competition in Estepona (Malaga), and the First Prize for a Skate Park in Torres de la Alameda. In terms of publications, in addition to magazines and books that include his texts and works, he is the author of two books edited by the Castilla-La Mancha Architects Association and the IberoAmerican Institute of Finland, highlighting his special knowledge of Finnish architecture. His headquarters are in Madrid, but he travels to work in other areas such as Malaga (Marbella), Valencia, Castellón, Castilla-La Mancha, and the Balearic Islands.
Theresa Obermoser
TO Interior Design is an award-winning interior design studio with offices in London and Vienna.
Theresa Obermoser is the founder and creative director. She incorporates a unique instagrammable style that can be best described as effortlessly elegant grounded in efficacy and practicality.
Theresa has been widely recognized for her work around the globe in the industry and her work has been published in various magazines like AD, Elle Decor, Vogue Living and co. In 2017 she won the prestigious, Restaurant and Bar Design Award and won in the category “Best Pop-Up worldwide” for the Igloos she created for Coppa Club. She was also Judge in the Interior Design TV Casting Show “Design Dream”.
Since 2020 the studio is also listed amongst the top 100 Designers in the world from the Coveted Magazin
Lara Lino
Administrator – I was born near Milan in 1982. After graduating in foreign languages in Italy, I decided to leverage my knowledge by pursuing a career as a senior administrator. With a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to organization, I have advanced to the role of office manager. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating within a team that shares a dedication to expertise and productivity.
My professional background includes experience in the luxury sector, having worked in Milan within the supercar industry for McLaren, as well as in Mallorca within the superyacht industry. Furthermore, I have accrued over 5 years of real estate experience in Italy, working with prominent brands such as Tecnocasa and Pirelli RE franchising.
ELENA NORA LUTZ (SALES - DESIGN DEPARTMENT)
Born and raised in Germany, Elena’s lifelong passion for exploring diverse cultures, languages, and lifestyles led her to embark on a new chapter at the age of 23. After graduating from hotel management school, she made the bold decision to leave her homeland and set out on a journey of discovery, with Miami Beach as her first destination.
Immersed in the beauty of endless beaches, towering palm trees, and the iconic Art Deco architecture of Miami, Elena discovered her true calling – DESIGN! Upon returning to Europe, Germany was no longer an option, so she chose Mallorca as her new home. To this day, she has not regretted her decision. Having collaborated with some of the most successful interior designers in the Mediterranean region, Elena has continually expanded her knowledge, honed her skills, and maintained an unwavering enthusiasm.
Beyond formal education and work experience, Elena possesses qualities such as empathy, attention to detail, and a “sixth sense” that enables her to intuitively understand the desires and preferences of clients. Join Elena on her design journey as she translates her passion into captivating and personalized spaces that reflect the unique visions of those she collaborates with!
GIMENA MAZZEO (INTERIOR DESIGNER)
Born in Argentina, Gimena Mazzeo developed a profound thirst for knowledge from an early age, nurtured by her scientist parents. Alongside her intellectual curiosity, she harbored a deep love for creativity and design. This dual passion led her to the University of Buenos Aires, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design.
Gimena’s career took off in environments often perceived as male-dominated, showcasing her prowess in the design and application of corporate graphics, particularly on GP Formula racing cars.
In 2001, she embarked on a new chapter in Spain, immersing herself in the world of design with Zara Woman. Her journey continued as a founding member of Zara Home, contributing significantly to the brand’s global launch and development.
A transformative moment occurred during her involvement in an architectural and interior design project for a museum in Mallorca, where Gimena fell in love with the island. This experience opened her eyes to the opulent realm of luxury private yachts.
Through bespoke commissions for individual yacht projects, Gimena discovered a harmonious fusion of her skills as an industrial designer. Her approach involves seamlessly blending art and science to create environments that epitomize luxury, striking a delicate balance between aesthetics, form, functionality, and operation.
Drawing on her background in fashion, Gimena understands the paramount importance of fabric quality, meticulous detailing, and the careful selection of elements to craft the perfect setting—finishing touches that play a crucial role in the overall design. Today, Gimena Mazzeo continues to bring her unique blend of knowledge, creativity, and design expertise to elevate every project she undertakes.
